Pathology
The pathology department at Diagnostic Clinic of Longview offers services in both anatomic and clinical pathology. The department operates with a trained technical and professional staff, and aims to provide accurate, timely laboratory results.
Clinical pathology services are provided in a CLIA certified clinical laboratory. The laboratory offers testing in the following disciplines:
- Clinical Chemistry
- Hematology
- Coagulation
- Serology
- Microbiology
- Urinalysis
Pathologists are also available for professional consultations to the medical staff in all of the above testing areas.
Anatomic pathology services are offered in several areas including surgical pathology biopsy interpretation with a special emphasis offered in skin pathology. Cytology testing is offered on both pap smears and non-gynecologic specimens, including fine needle aspiration biopsies.
